- CHOCOLATE (including cocoa),COFFEE,TEA AND OTHER CAFFEINE-theobromine, or theophylline, which can be toxic and affect the heart and nervous systems. vomiting, rapid or irregular heart beat, increased urination, muscle tremors, seizures and death which can occur within 24 hours after consumption. Dark chocolate is more potent than milk chocolate.

Garlic is less toxic than onions.even in tiny amounts above their toxic level can cause anemia via destruction of red blood cells. Symptoms of anemia include blood in urine, lethargy, decreased appetite, rapid heart beat, depression, pale mucous membranes
- ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES-Can cause intoxication, coma, and death
- BONES FROM FISH,POULTRY, OR OTHER MEAT SOURCES-cause obstruction or laceration of the digestive system. is potential choking hazard as well as internal organ damage as cooked bones splinter easily. Signs of choking include gasping, blue gums, face pawing, drooling, breathing difficulties and loss of consciousness.
- CAT FOOD-too high in protein and fats which cause metabolic imbalance which upsets stomach and diarrhea
- CITRUS OIL EXTRATS-cause vomiting
- FAT TRIMMINGS (SUCH AS ON MEATS)-cause pancreatitis
- HUMAN VITAMIN SUPPLEMENTS CONTAINING IRON-damages the lining of the digestive system and toxic to the other organs including the liver and kidneys. Always acquire vet's approval before giving your cat any over-the-counter supplement or medication.

- PITS FROM PEACHES & PLUMS-cause obstruction of the digestive tract. also can lodge in throat or digestive tract
- POTATO,TOMATOS, & POTATO/TOMATO STEMS, AND RHUBARB- Contain oxalates which affect the digestive, nervous, and urinary systems. This is more of a problem in livestock. May cause heart disturbances.
